Must say tis is a extremely nice wine bar that has changed for the better over the past couple of years. They have a great wine selection which is to be expected but it not just a dreary wine bar but an actual hood hangout so in effect not so bad local.
Will be back.

This is my go-to bar on Polk. Pretty much every other bar is packed to fire-hazard levels, and getting the bartender's attention is purely impossible. If my boyfriend and I aren't feeling like going across the city, we'll walk over to the Pour House. What I mostly love about this place is that it's not crazy crowded and the bartenders are pretty great. They both know our usual and have great taste in music. The wine the Thai restaurant Chai-Yo and they'll bring it right to where you're sitting in the bar. It's fantastic! We've definitely spent many a Friday night watching the Giant's game and drinking champagne.
