Really like this place, close to my house & perfect replacement for Barleycorns (I was sad to see it close however)
Great original coffee taste & I have gotten to meet allot of my neighbors here.

Free internet, cool decor & outdoor seating.
Sweet!

Used to go here when it was John Barleycorns, thought it would be difficult for any business to open here after all the controversy.
But I'm glad they did.
Their coffee is unique & very tasty a nice change to the usual Starbucks crap we are all used to.
The coffee shop it self is real nice inside & they have free wifi.

A fairly recent addition to Nob hill Contraband has a unique approach to the coffee bar scene in San Francisco.
The coffee itself is very tasty compared to the usual fare we have to generally go with in most neighborhoods. I'm sipping on a Non-fat latte right now & it's certainly doing the trick.
The beans roasted by the owners in Oakland so I know I'm getting a unique experience when I come here.
I will recommend the Ethiopian drip, it's a drip so will take longer but worth the wait.

Oh & did I mention the chocolate spice doughnut made from Dynamo Donuts...

Free WiFi & they Accepts Credit Cards.
Pallet experience very satisfying!
